The MillenNium Family: A Brief History
DJs - It all started in 2001 with Millennium Music's DJ service. Owner Kris Yust, realized the need for a new style of St Louis DJ for weddings and formal events, as the market seemed saturated with the same 80's style, cheesy DJ entertainment.Ephasizing a contemporary style, Millennium Music is well-known in St Louis for its expertise in event planning, top-of-the line DJ equipment, and quality MC services.
Videography - As video technology became an increasingly popular add-on to its wedding package, Millennium Music realized its potential regarding videography services right away:The inclusion of its DJ components (mainly LED lighing and top-of-the line audio technology) will in turn, result in higher quality video footage. Thus, Millennium Video was born and maintains one goal: To provide quality documentary-style video footage ehnanced greatly by crystal clear audio captures and stunning picture quality when merged with Millennium Music's DJ service.
Bands - After much success with its DJ service, Millennium began offering our popular band/DJ combo package, thus providing the best of both worlds; DJ and band entertainment.The band/DJ combo was a hit from the start as more bands grew comfortable with combining services. Soon, many of these bands also grew comfortable with Millennium booking some of their events for them and road to a band booking service was formed. Jon, the Drummer and owner of one of these bands, Downtime Productions, currently manages all booking inquiries for Millennium Live.
Design - In its goal to always excel in the face of new competition, Millennium Music has continually expanded its repetoire of services; from flat-screen additions, slide show creations, sound enhancements, event lighting, gobo designs and more, Millennium is relentless in its quest to keep pushing the envelope of mobile DJ capabilities. Venue design and decor services naturally evolved as a result, and Millennium Design was born. The youngest addition to the family, following Millennium Live, the goal of Millennium Design is to emphasize customization; Allowing your venue to reflect your personality through customized lighting, furniture, lounge settings, drapery and design solutions.
